Grace Fickett (PDF ebook) – Here’s a classic “living book” for young readers about what it was like to be a young person living in colonial America. Each chapter is actually a separate story, which deal with ordinary activities such as candlemaking, letter writing, schoolwork, telling time, keeping the Puritan Sabbath and Indian encounters.
