  1. Great resource…some ourdated views like "why a sea-horse is a sissy 'cos he is left caring for the young ones!!"….gives an interesting perspective though on times when "stay-at-home dads" were unheard of and parenting was definitely not on the list of task for "dads" :)

    All my children just loved it (7).  The older ones are verifying the accuracy of the Australian caterpillars and the younger ones are enthralled.  We would love a follow up.  Thank you for doing this every day. How do you do it?

    We are using the drawings in art class.  Great "take along" (car comutes, Dr. waiting rooms, Cub Scout leaders meetings) book of "fascinating" facts to be read, discussed then follow-up when we get back home.

    I'm not thrilled about the outdated views, but the facts presented are very interesting! I have been looking up information on the disgusting Surinam Toad ever since I read that piece. YUCK!!!!!!!
