Today's resource is this wonderfully sensitive and thoughtful book of lessons and stories to help develop an appreciation of music in young children - but readers of any age will benefit from this. Once you read & think about this book, you'll never think quite the same about music and the effects it has on us. Music Talks With Children was written in a different era (1898) and obviously dealing with a very different type of musical atmosphere than what surrounds us today, but this would still be great to use as you expose your children to classical and other genres of music outside of today's pop culture. This little volume is perfect for Charlotte Mason, literature-based learning households. Just start reading it, you'll see the value of it very quickly.
