No criticisim. I only wanted to state that this did not suit my tastes. I looked up ole Palmer and didn’t care for what appears to be a wordly dabbling into vulgar discrimination and prejudice. My .02 – nothing more.
Debbie, times were different then, and back in Cox’s day ethnic humor was acceptable and in fact the norm. Makes me wonder at how Cox and his contemporaries would view the humor we have today. I suspect modern humor would shock them more than their humor shocks us.
