LENTEN TREE & ACTIVITIES BOOK (PDF ebook) by Miiko Gibson - Lent, which began last Wednesday (Ash Wednesday) is the 40 days (excluding Sundays) before Easter. For many families, Easter just happens. Don’t let that occur this year. You can make this season VERY memorable and meaningful for your family with this little guide by making a “Lenten Tree” and doing a special activity each day of Lent. Then fill in the fruit on the Lenten Tree Chart and countdown to Easter.

What a wonderful way to slow down and really observe Easter. She has created a wonderful, simple way to include this observance leading up to Easter. God bless her for offering this resource to us for free! Thank you too Homeschool freebie of the day!!
Hi,
The link takes you directly to the Easter Devotional page, but it has Lent Activities listed for $6.95. How do I get the free sample?
Thanks for all your hard work getting these wonderful freebies together for us!

Just a comment — that’s when Lent started for the Western church. For the Eastern Orthodox, it started Feb 15, the day after Forgiveness Sunday.
Being a Protestant, I have never celebrated Lent before. It will be interesting to learn about it. Thanks!

Sarah,
Today’s freebie is the third item down the page.
Look for the cover that we have here and you’ll spot it.

I printed this off without really knowing much about Lent or it’s observation. We are taking part in a 40 fast in our church this year and this freebie was such a gift to us! It answered questions my children had and made it simple to observe this special time in our Christian walk. Thank you for once again coming through with just the right thing for us!
Blessings!
