These are the mysteries that the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes must solve in the exciting story “The Adventure of the Speckled Band”, one of the 56 short Sherlock Holmes stories written by British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The story was first published in Strand Magazine in February 1892. Conan Doyle later revealed that he thought this was his best Holmes story. This fine adaptation was originally broadcast on “The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes” on November 12, 1945.
