July 17: Five Minute Mysteries

on July 17, 2008

FIVE MINUTE MYSTERIES! (MP3 audios) - In these fast-paced little five minute programs, the scene is set… the crime is committed… and the clue to “who done it” is given. Your job is to match wits with the detectives and solve the mystery before they do! Hint: Stop the program right after the detective announces they know who did it, and discuss the case with the kids and see if anyone has been able to spot the clue before going on to hear the answer. These hokey but fun little mysteries were originally syndicated to radio stations way back in the mid-1930s!

Parents Note: No violence is depicted in these three episodes, but all deal with crimes committed and solved by detectives. Although these are really “G” rated, If you are at all concerned about the appropriateness of these programs for little ears, please preview them first.

How do I save this for later? We have been so busy we don’t have time to do this today while the link is active. When I right click, I have the option to ‘save target as’. Is that what I want to click?
    Thanks!

Yes, if you save target as and then put it in a folder, it will save it for later. I have a folder set up specifically for freebies of the day that I always save into so I can easily find it for later.
