Meet the Masters is an art history and appreciation program for elementary age students, developed by Broward County Schools in Florida for their Get Involved in Education program for parents and classroom volunteers. It is intended to acquaint children with classic works of art through selected art prints, biographical information about the artists, and discussion of the works.

It would be super easy to adapt this for homeschool use, just using the curriculum manual we have for you here. If you’re interested in art history and appreciation, you need to take a look at this.

To download the 250 page PDF curriculum manual (which includes the lesson plans and color prints of the works discussed in the lessons), RIGHT CLICK HERE and “save link” to your computer. Mac users, press the “control” key then click the link and save to your mac.
