Polyhedra are beautiful 3-D geometrical figures that have fascinated philosophers, mathematicians and artists for millennia. Today we feature this excellent site which features a few hundred paper models available to freely print out and make your own awesome polyhedron shapes!
My daughter is learning about faces, vertices, and edges of 3-D geometric shapes and having a difficult time counting them correctly. She was only counting what she was actually seeing on the page not including what was not seen. In my search I found this site. This is really great for visually learning how many faces, edges, and vertices a 3-D shape has. All you do is print out the shape whether it is a pyramid or a cube, cut it out and form your shape. This has been a big help for my daughter. – First suggested by Elaine Thigpen
