PHYSICS COMIC BOOKS & COLORING BOOKS

The American Physical Society has developed two neat downloadable publications for young physics students:

PHYSICS QUEST:

What could be more exciting than superheroes solving physics problems?
As a part of the hands-on PhysicsQuest middle school contest, PhysicsCentral developed this series of comic books to accompany physics experiments around different physics themes. Join Spectra and her gang as they protect their school against villains and disasters with physics or help Thomas Edison and Nicola Tesla strive to light the Chicago World Fair.

COLOR ME PHYSICS:

Through coloring pages and activities, both Color Me Physics books introduce elementary students to physics and some of its most famous characters.

  1. Great resource – I had trouble downloading the comic books, though. I could view them online (hard to read from the tiny print) but was just getting blank pdf files when I opened them.

    Any suggestions?
