The signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787, by 39 of the Founding Fathers of the United States is one of the most important and influential events in American history, establishing the many rights and freedoms “We the People” enjoy today. Today, exactly 222 years later, we celebrate “Constitution Day” in recognition of the importance of the Constitution to our country, our government, and all who were born or have become U.S. citizens.     These are terrific resources! Thank you for sharing them with us. I wish they’d had this when I went to high school. (The 200th anniversary of the ratification of the Constitution was on my 19th birthday the year that I graduated high school.) What a blessing to have the thoughtful, passionate, and concerned founding fathers we had to create such a document with its Bill of Rights!
