You Are There: July 4th, 1776 (mp3 audio) – In this great half hour audio dramatization, we journey back to the hot, sweltering summer of 1776 in Philadelphia, where representatives from each of the thirteen original colonies have gathered as the Continental Congress to take a common stand and change the course of history. "You Are There" was a classic radio series that dramatized pivotal historic events as if real reporters had been on the scene, recording the proceedings and interviewing the participants – as we hear in this recreation of this fateful day as the Continental Congress signed the Declaration of Independence!
