Daughter Jessica has spent a lot of time this spring and summer honing her film making skills, and posting the results on youtube. They are a hoot. Just for fun, we thought you might like to see a few of them here before we get back to business on Wednesday.
Here’s her latest episode of her series “Lonely Knights”, which she writes, directs, films, edits, and plays all parts (well, almost all parts). Check it out:
And here’s one of my favorite videos she has put together. This is a shot-by-shot parody of the opening of the 1960s TV series, “The Prisoner” (which, coincidentally, we watched earlier this year). If you aren’t familiar with it, watch the original program opening first:
And here’s her version. Too funny:
If you want to see more of Jessica’s videos, including Part Two of the “Little Happy Song” video above, visit her youtube page where there’s a bunch of ‘em. Drop her a note in the comments there and let her know you stopped by.
Where did you find the episodes for “The Prisoner”? We are curious! Great spoof!!!
Shaena,
We got a deal on a used DVD set from ebay I think.
I remember watching it when it was first broadcast, and thinking it was great, but not understanding the final episode at all. Well, we all watched together this past spring and thoroughly enjoyed it all over again, but I still don’t understand the ending. However, it made for some interesting discussion, and Jessica is now a true fan of Mr. McGoohan. We are currently going through Secret Agent Man/Danger Man. Excellent stuff!

Cool! Thanks for the info. My husband is intrigued and wants to watch it now! We all enjoyed seeing your daughter’s take on it. We will definitely be on the lookout for it!
Jessica, you do great accents in “Little Happy Song”. I really like it, and will check part 2 out on youtube.
I just have one little question about the spy spoof. Now pleeeease don’t take this as a criticism, because I think you’re great, ok?
The question: Did you really mean to give free advertising to corporate giant Coca Cola (your bed cover)?
You’re funny, creative, and full of in initiative! I think your acting skills are great, too. Keep up the good work!
